Java Update Notifications Turning off Java updates
Run RegEdit.exe

Browse to :
 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Update\Policy\
Find key:
EnableJavaUpdate
change the value to 0

To Stop it on 2008 R2 Server :
Delete registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\SunJavaUpdateSche
